Places To Stay Near Wembley Stadium
The legendary Wembley Stadium, where pop stars and footballers are watched by 90,000 fans, is just a stone's throw from Home Farm Glamping and it's a great place for a day out with the family if you’re staying with us. You can get a behind-the-scenes experience on one of their brilliant tours, or you might want to look out for when there’s a game on and plan your stay around it. But every year they are also host to a huge number of spectacular concerts, with many of the world’s biggest artists descending on the Wembley Stage. This year Taylor Swift sold out 8 shows. And next year it's the turn of the legendary Oasis to bring the party to North London, with 7 shows announced (so far!)
So if you were one of the lucky few to nab tickets for the biggest music reunion of the century, or if you’re eyeing up any of the other amazing gigs on offer next summer, then we’ve got some affordable and alternative options for where you can stay and relax after a big night of dancing and jubilation.
HOME FARM GLAMPING
Of course, our top choice is our beautiful glamping site set 150 acres of private parkland, just outside the boundary of greater London. Just a half an hour drive away from Wembley, or easily accessed via the Jubilee Line from Stanmore (a 10 minute drive from us), you can be back from the gig with plenty of time to still roast some marshmallows at our fire pits.
You can get to our site and check-in from 3pm, giving you plenty of time to chill out, relax and breathe in some fresh air as you prepare to head off to the concert. And we’ve got 4 yurts which can sleep up to 5 people and 8 bell tents which can sleep up to 4 people, meaning there’s plenty of room for you and all your friends to crash out after the concert. It’s a bit posher than the typical camping experience you’re used to; inside our roomy tents and yurts are comfy beds and fluffy bed sheets for an amazing night's sleep under the stars.
If you want to avoid those pesky price-hikes of the London hotels and Airbnb, and you’re after a really relaxed experience then Home Farm is the perfect place to crash after your trip to Wembley.
CITIZEN M
There’s a few of these cool and quirky hotels dotted all around London, all close to stations that will get you to Wembley super easily. Each one has a bit of a different feel to best suit the neighbourhood they’re nestled within. In Shoreditch, the trendy hotel is designed to reflect the fashionable and creative vibes of East London. And the one in Southwark is designed with the artsy and cultural attractions in the vicinity in mind. But they all prioritise comfort, chic and great food and drink at affordable prices.
VILLAGE HOTEL, ELSTREE
Also in Elstree is the Village Hotel, a cheap and cheerful city break hotel which is a great base for concert-goers not looking to spend much time in the room.
