Glamping near London: The Great 2021 Staycation starts here
Today is the official reopening for Home Farm Glamping, here in our idyllic spot in Elstree, on the London/Herts border. We’ll be open all the way through to 4th October 2021.
In fact, you may have seen a flurry of posts on Instagram this week, as we gave the press a sneak preview to help spread the word about Home Farm. Let’s face it, we’re still one of London’s best-kept secrets. We’ll be proudly sharing any upcoming press features here.
An exciting season of live outdoor music and events
If being able to reunite with loved ones away from home wasn’t exciting enough, then our season of intimate events, which we’re calling At Home Farm, taking place in our private woodland areas between May and September this year, will give you even more reason to journey into London’s Green Belt to experience something extra special.
We’re working with seasoned festival curator Tessa Clarfelt to partner with some of the most exclusive names in live music, outdoor theatre, gastronomy and wellbeing, to host small-scale outdoor events worth writing home about, including Communion Presents Jack Garratt: At Home Farm.

Sleeping under ‘new’ Canvas
The sound of unzipping tents never wears thin (for us anyway!)
You may remember us mentioning that we’ve upgraded one of our Bell Tents to a Yurt this year, so now we have eight Bell Tents (sleep 4) and four Yurts (sleep 5). We’re proud to buy British from tent makers BCT Outdoors. They’ve supplied our tents at Home Farm since the very beginning - and we wouldn’t have it any other way, with over 120 years of experience, BCT is now one of the UK’s leading tent suppliers.
Comfort food
We’re always working to put even more ‘glam’ into your glamping experience. Beyond the comfortable double beds, Egyptian cotton sheets, hot showers and gourmet cooked breakfasts, we’ve teamed up with Mallow & Marsh to offer you a complimentary bag of their gourmet [to die for] Salted Caramel Marshmallows in your welcome box. Making those smores… well, smore-some!

Our annual feasts under our family oak tree are proving popular already, and with a 3-course menu served by resident professional caterers Sainlo Events, we’re not surprised.
