There’s nothing quite as snuggly as being under canvas, whatever the season. We’ve thought of the small touches to set the mood, such as twinkly fairy lights, candle lanterns, hot water bottles, cosy blankets and squishy duvets to keep you warm at night. Even if there’s a chill in the air, we still recommend a candle-lit dinner al fresco under the stars. Come the morning, treat your partner to a cup of tea or coffee in bed - but don’t forget to tie back the doors to your tent and enjoy foggy sunrises over the meadow. Bliss!

2. Smog-free Stargazing 

Being out in the greenbelt we’re that little bit more removed from the bright lights of the city, so on a clear September evening our night sky is one to marvel at. Light up your firepit, slip into something cosy and toast your complimentary bag of salted caramel Mallow & Marsh marshmallows while marvelling at the wonders up above.

3. Gourmet dining 

For us at Home Farm, what helps to put the ‘glam’ into the ‘glamping’ is our gourmet dining offering thanks to our catering partner Sainlo Events. Sainlo prepares indulgent BBQ boxes which take the stress out of meal planning and all that’s left for you to remember is a bottle of bubbles. Whether you use the BBQ at the tent, or go out to one of the local pubs for dinner we highly recommend Sainlo’s scrummy full English breakfast - there’s nothing quite like a fresh press and a hearty cooked breakfast to round off your stay.

4. Wellbeing meets wildlife

Why not turn your night away into a mini-retreat? With SouLand yoga running daily yoga classes from their onsite yoga yurt, and with the ladies at Inspiration Beauty offering couples massage overlooking the fields, we have taken the hard work out of planning an escape. After a year of (endless) Zoom calls, Netflix binging and mindless Instagram scrolling our glamping guests have relished a night away from screens and reconnecting with nature. Being set on 150 acres of private land, our site is blessed with many walking trails and cycling routes to go off and explore. It’s important to us that our guests receive a wholesome outdoor experience and precious time away from the stresses and pressures of home - but for those who need to remain connected we have installed WiFi in our barn.
