Home Farm Glamping Announces New Charity Partnership
We are super excited to announce our brand-new partnership with Herts and Middlesex Wildlife Trust, a local conservation charity that helps people experience the wildlife on their doorsteps and to take steps to protect it.
Home Farm Glamping will be donating £3 for every booking you make (including all 2020 existing bookings). The funds raised will support the amazing team of volunteers at Herts and Middlesex Wildlife Trust, who care for wild places so that nature has a place to thrive.
We’re delighted that the staycation boom has enabled us to give back to those working so hard to protect wildlife and help people connect with nature. Thank you to our guests for making this charitable collaboration a reality.
Like us, Herts and Middlesex Wildlife Trust believes that wildlife should be able to thrive alongside our everyday lives and that everyone is better off when they have access to nature.
Our aim, at Home Farm Glamping, is to celebrate the best that both town and country has to offer. Being only 15 miles from Central London, our countryside glamping site is the first stop for so many looking to recharge their batteries.
By working with Herts and Middlesex Wildlife Trust, our effort to help them reconnect with nature will be accelerated.
Those staying at Home Farm will be able to go on an Egg Box Scavenger Hunt around our 150-acre estate, collecting natural items of different textures and shapes. And don’t forget to collect your Herts and Middlesex Wildlife Trust Nature Diary to log what you discovered during your stay.
In our grounds you can spot bees, moths, herons, red kites, hedgehogs, hares, field mice, shrews and voles, plus wildflowers, even fish and pond skaters in our lake.
We should never take nature for granted. There has been a massive decline of bees and wildflowers across the country. We’re aware that these creatures may not feature in childhood memories of the future.
That’s why we have chosen to collaborate with Herts and Middlesex Wildlife Trust, to create a joint effort to protect the precious land our ancestors have lived on for over 400 years.
