Sausage-Making Workshops with Perry the Butcher

 

Join us at Home Farm Glamping for a fun culinary workshop where you'll learn how to make your own sausages and get to take 2.5 kg (per person) home with you!

In this fun, hands-on workshop we will cover what cuts of meat are best and what ingredients you can throw together to make the perfect sausage. You will hand mix, pump and link your very own sausages to take home. Perfect for large groups, hen parties and corporate events!

Please note there needs to be a minimum of 12 guests for a private booking.

Workshop format:

- Enjoy a demonstration from Perry about cuts of meat and why they are good for sausages

- Demonstration using the sausage-making machine, mixing and filling sausages

- Make some sausages

- Get the BBQ going and eat some of your efforts

- Event ends, with guests going home with 2.5 KG sausages per person (slightly less for kids)



Meet your host, Perry:

From the age of seventeen I have worked in the meat industry. From bagging up offal to selling to high end restaurants - and everything in between! I have worked for top end, London butchers throughout my career. One company in particular being the Ginger Pig, where I was for three years making hundreds of thousands of hand linked sausages. It was here that I fell in love with the art of the sausage. 

Perry has a Level 3 Food  Safety & Hygiene certificate
